Scientific and Methodical Work:

Members of the chair are members of the working group on development of standards of higher education of Ukraine on the first (bachelor) level and the second (master's) level in the specialty 224 Technologies of medical diagnostics and treatment, specialization “Laboratory diagnostics” The group of teachers of the chair (Fedechko Y.M., Soyka L.D., Balko Y.D., Sidor O.K., Lyubinskaya O.I.) has developed a cross-curriculum of practice for higher medical institutions of the I-IV accreditation levels specialty 224 Technologies of medical diagnostics and treatment specialization “Laboratory diagnostics” of the first (bachelor) level: general provisions of practice and on the disciplines “Microbiology, virology, immunology with microbiological diagnostics”, “Clinical biochemistry”, “Clinical laboratory diagnostics” , “Hygiene and hygienic expertise” . It has been developed the project of a cross-curriculum of practice for higher medical educational establishments of І-ІV levels of accreditation in the specialty 224 Technologies of medical diagnostics and treatment of the second (master's) level of higher education on the specialty 224 Technologies of medical diagnostics and treatment, specialization “Laboratory diagnostics” on discipline “Clinical pathohystology”, “Biochemistry of pathological processes”, “Clinical immunology and allergology”, “Cytological diagnostics”. Textbook for students of higher medical institutions “Microbiology, Virology, Immunology”. III-IV level of accreditation was written. For the second (master's) level of higher education on the specialty 224 Technologies of medical diagnostics and treatment, specialization “Laboratory diagnostics” typical curricula are developed on the following disciplines: Clinical immunology and allergology Biochemistry of pathological processes Cytological diagnosis Evidence-based medicine. Standards of laboratory diagnostics Clinical evaluation of laboratory studies Clinical pathohistology Sanitary expertise A typical program on Clinical Immunology and Allergology for the specialty 223 Nursing of Master’s Degree has been developed. Application of ISO standards for medical laboratories. Methodological recommendations for practical classes, self-study notebooks, modular controls are developed on all disciplines of the chair.

Scientific work

Experimental research in collaboration with Lviv National Medical University. on the topic “Study of virulence factors of odontopathogenic bacteria”. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the latest pedagogical technologies. Assessing students’ level of knowledge using the Complexity Interrelated Methods Applying the “learning by learning” method as a way of improving the effectiveness of skills development on practical classes.
